Between 23 and 28 August 2025, at the 8th Congress of Entomology, held in Viçosa, an invited lecture was presented on the effects of climate change on the diversity of glacial arthropods, with a specific focus on supraglacial springtails.

Since glacial biodiversity is globally at risk, raising awareness on this issue and expanding the network of researchers working on it is crucial. The conference also offered an excellent opportunity to establish new collaborations and to further expand the CollembolICE project.
