On June 21, 2025, the coordination meeting for the 2025 glaciological survey campaign in the Western Alps will take place, gathering field operators and members of the Italian Glaciological Committee (Western Alps Section). On this occasion, the CollembolICE project will be officially presented.

The meeting will introduce glacial biodiversity, current research, the goals of the CollembolICE Citizen Science project, and the sampling methodologies involved.

The event is organized by the Italian Glaciological Committee, in collaboration with the Gran Paradiso National Park and the Municipality of Cogne, and will be held in the council hall of the municipality.
