Want to Become a Volunteer?

Do you care about Alpine biodiversity and its conservation? Would you like to help with the sampling, discovery, and monitoring of glacier species? Are you curious to find out which species inhabit the glaciers you regularly visit? Are you interested in taking part in this research?
Your contribution is essential — many glaciers are still unexplored, and many species risk going extinct before they are even discovered. Time is running out.
Get in touch with a project contact or coordinator. You will be provided with a sampling kit, and detailed instructions on how to collect samples can be found on the “SAMPLING” page.

Are You an Organization or Association Active in the Area?

You can support the project by sharing it with your staff and collaborators.
You can also endorse the project and make its goals your own—by helping with data collection (encouraging interested individuals to join as volunteers), and by raising awareness of glacial biodiversity. This can include organizing outreach and educational events based on the results of this project (and beyond!).
